INTRO

The following covers project-level build engagements and ongoing development and operational support. Each includes a description and estimated lead time. Lead times assume timely delivery of client inputs and are subject to scope and team capacity.

Lead times are based on business days only and are estimates. They may vary based on internal prioritization, timeliness of required information and assets, project scope, client responsiveness, and team capacity.

Builds

Net-new storefronts, major redesigns, platform migrations, and store consolidations.

Full Brand Site Build

Complete Shopify Plus storefront with premium theme customization, branded experience pages, dynamic content pages, rich media integration, and full creative direction. For artists with strong visual identities who need the site to function as an immersive brand destination, not just a store.

Merch Store Build

Shopify Plus storefront built on a premium theme with configuration, product catalog setup, and standard merch operations. Functions primarily as a commerce destination with clean branding without requiring custom theme development or heavy creative builds.

Headless / Custom Storefront Build

Custom frontend storefront decoupled from Shopify, using a headless framework (Framer, Hydrogen, Next.js) connected via the Storefront API. For clients who need a design-forward web experience beyond what Shopify themes can deliver while keeping Shopify as the commerce backend.

Shopify Redesign / Re-theme

Major visual overhaul of an existing Shopify store. May involve migrating to a new premium theme, implementing a new design system, or restructuring navigation and content hierarchy. The store stays on Shopify; this is focused on the front-end experience.

Platform Migration & Redesign

Migrating a client from a non-Shopify platform (WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, etc.) to Shopify Plus. Includes data migration, URL redirect mapping, SEO preservation, and potentially a full redesign on top of the migration.

Store Consolidation / Multi-Store Merge

Merging multiple regional or segmented Shopify stores into a single Shopify Plus storefront. Involves product and customer data consolidation, fulfillment routing, multi-currency and language configuration, and redirect planning across domains.

General Updates

Ongoing development, integrations, and operational support.

Landing Page Build

Custom landing page development for product launches, tour announcements, campaigns, or seasonal promotions. Single-page builds with responsive design, and sometimes interactive elements or video integration.

Theme Configuration

Installing and setting up a premium Shopify theme. Includes populating theme settings, building navigation, configuring homepage sections, and aligning the theme to the client's brand within the theme's built-in options.

Custom Development

Bespoke front-end or Liquid development beyond theme settings. Includes custom sections, metafield-driven templates, custom product page layouts, interactive elements, or any work requiring code rather than theme configuration.

Evaluating, installing, configuring, and customizing third-party Shopify apps or services. Includes theme integration to ensure the app renders correctly within the store's design, and testing.

Checkout & App Extension Development

Custom Shopify checkout UI extensions or app extensions built in-house to replace third-party apps or add functionality not available off the shelf.

Setting up or migrating email and SMS marketing platforms. Includes list migration, flow architecture, template development, and integration with the Shopify store.

Launch / Drop Support

Coordinated support for product launches, limited releases, and merch drops. Technical and operational setup including inventory limits, sale logic, storefront updates, and post-launch reporting.
